What "Booking Agency" Means

Urgent Pro is a booking agency — not a service company. We do not send our own staff. What we do is match your request with an independent local professional who has passed our verification process and holds the credentials required for your service type.

When you book, you receive a booking confirmation with your provider's trading name and ABN before they arrive. You know exactly who is coming, what they have agreed to do, and what your rights are if the work does not meet the agreed standard.

  • $10M Public Liability insurance Minimum $10 million per occurrence — Certificate of Currency sighted and verified before activation. Lapse triggers booking suspension.
  • Government-issued photo identity Verified for every provider before activation on the platform.
  • Right to work in Australia Confirmed for every individual provider via VEVO and supporting documentation.
  • Licence and qualification checks Completed where required by service type — including trade licences, vehicle licence class for removalists, and chemical handling certification where applicable.

When I pay UrgentPro, is the money going to you or to the provider doing the job?

Payment is collected by Urgent Pro as authorised agent on behalf of your provider. Paying Urgent Pro is the same as paying your provider directly. Your tax invoice shows your provider's name and ABN. We retain the agreed agency commission and remit the provider's share to their nominated account. You are not paying a middleman — you are paying the provider through an authorised collection arrangement.
