How Urgent Pro Pricing Works
Four principles that govern every quote, every booking, every invoice across all five service categories.
GST-Inclusive Pricing
Every price quoted through Urgent Pro is GST-inclusive. The GST component is identified separately on your tax invoice. You see one total figure — no calculator required.
Written Quotes Before Work Begins
Your provider prepares a written quote based on what you describe. It lists the agreed scope, any factors that may affect the price, and the total GST-inclusive cost. You receive it in writing before any work starts.
Payment via Authorised Agent
Payment is collected by Urgent Pro as authorised agent on behalf of your provider. Paying Urgent Pro is the same as paying your provider directly. Your tax invoice shows your provider’s trading name and ABN.
Variations Require Your Approval
If the actual scope differs from what was agreed, your provider contacts Urgent Pro and we contact you before any additional charges apply. Approval thresholds are set out below.

Property size & scope
Number of rooms, bathrooms, total area, or volume of items — determines time and resources.
Access conditions
Stairs, lifts, long carries, parking restrictions, or building access protocols.
Property condition
Heavy soiling, built-up grime, overgrown lawns, or hidden defects may require additional work.
Item type
Oversized furniture, restricted rubbish categories, fragile or high-value items, or specialised handling.
Service type
Licensed trade work, carpet fibre type, wall material, surface condition, or specialist techniques.
Timing & urgency
Urgent jobs, after-hours, weekends, or public holidays may attract a premium, disclosed in the quote.

What’s Not Included in a Standard Quote
Honesty up front. The following items sit outside our standard starting prices and are either priced separately, passed at cost, or excluded entirely.
Customer-supplied materials
Paint, tiles, replacement parts, or specific brands for handyman jobs — you supply, or we source at cost with your approval.
Hazardous waste disposal
Asbestos, chemicals, liquid paint, fuel, gas bottles, batteries — not accepted on standard rubbish removal. Requires licensed disposal.
High-value declared items
Pianos, pool tables, safes, fine art, antiques, or items above $2,000 individual value — require disclosure at booking for specialist handling.
Permits & council fees
Parking permits, lift booking fees, council disposal fees, or building access charges — passed through at cost, disclosed before booking.
After-hours & weekend surcharges
Premium for jobs outside standard hours, public holidays, or same-day urgency — identified in your written quote, never applied after.
Pre-existing damage
Damage caused by pre-existing conditions (worn hinges, brittle blinds, end-of-life fixtures) is excluded under our Damage Claims Policy.

No. Our Pricing and Variations Policy sets out every fee. There are no surcharges added without prior agreement.
What happens if the scope of the job changes once the provider arrives?
If genuine extra work is required on the day, the provider contacts Urgent Pro and we contact you before any additional charges apply. No extra work is carried out without your written agreement. Variation thresholds are: up to $50 may be approved by Urgent Pro without contacting you, $50–$200 needs your approval by phone or SMS, and over $200 requires written approval.
Can I get an exact price before booking?
Yes. Submit your job details via the quote form and your assigned provider will prepare a written quote based on what you describe. The quote is GST-inclusive and lists the agreed scope.
How are after-hours and urgent jobs priced?
Urgent and after-hours jobs may attract a premium due to provider scheduling and availability. The premium is identified in your written quote before any work begins — there are no surprise after-hours charges.
