Carpets
Carpet steam cleaning is included only when it is added as a separate line item in your quote. Stubborn stain removal and heavy pet-hair removal are not part of the standard scope; where they are identified on the day, they are treated as a variation — quoted and approved with you before any extra work proceeds.

- Wipe outdoor furniture (only where it is a property fixture)
- Perimeter cobweb removal within a 3-metre reach
The following are not part of the standard bond clean. They are available as add-ons, quoted as separate line items in your quote (or as a variation approved with you on the day):
- Swimming-pool fencing and balustrade cleaning
- House-fencing cobweb removal and washing
- Full courtyard, backyard, or external pavers beyond the alfresco or garage area (sweep, blower, leaf removal)
- Professional tile and grout cleaning beyond shower tiles
- Additional kitchen or kitchenette located outside the main dwelling or in a granny flat (including barbecue, separate cupboards, sinks, oven, rangehood, stove, and accessories)
Furnished-property work is included only where each item is separately quoted and added as an individual line item in your quote. If a furnished-property service does not appear as a separate line item, it is not included. Furnished-property additions can include:
- Dust and wipe all furniture surfaces
- Kitchen cupboards (only after items have been removed by the customer)
- Steam-clean upholstery, rugs, mattresses, chairs
- Clean white goods (fridge, microwave, dryer, washing machine)
- Barbecue cleaning
Completely excluded: smaller appliances (toaster, kettle, and similar) and kitchen inventory items (plates, pots, cups, bowls, decorative items) are not cleaned at all under any circumstances.
To allow your provider to complete the clean to standard, the property must be ready on arrival:
- All personal belongings removed from the property
- All rubbish disposed of (and notify us of any valuable items still on site)
- Property vacant and trade-free (no repairs, painting, or removals in progress)
- Power and water connected and on
- All doors unlocked
- A parking space reserved for the cleaning team
- Photos taken of the property's current condition
- Property in average condition — safe to work in, with no extreme build-up
The following are outside the scope of a standard bond clean:
- Internal walls of any kind — washing, spot-cleaning of marks, scuffs and fingerprints, wiping of wall surfaces, and cleaning around light switches and power points
- Mould embedded in silicone
- Damp-spot staining and water-damage marks
- Permanent discolouration from age or wear
- Deep tile or natural-stone stains requiring specialist treatment
- Ceiling cleaning above standard height
- Garage wall and floor scrubbing, and floor oil-stain removal
- Work at unsafe heights or in dangerous areas
- Specialist-equipment tasks (pressure-washing grease, paint removal, plaster removal and repairs)
- Unplastered brick walls, rough mortar walls, wallpaper, or timber-wall cleaning
- Attached or screwed items and areas (such as security screens, oven fittings, or light fittings): these are cleaned only if they are easily removable with a simple unlocking system. Anything requiring screws or tools to remove will not be cleaned.
Your quote covers only the items in this checklist (plus any add-ons listed as separate line items). Work beyond this checklist may incur additional charges on the day.
We always contact you and get your approval before any extra work proceeds — no matter how small the adjustment. Our team will explain what's needed and the cost, and your verbal approval (by phone) is enough to go ahead. Your provider will not perform any work outside the agreed scope until you've approved it.

If something within the agreed scope is missed or not cleaned to standard, a free re-clean may be available within the warranty period that applies to your service. Re-cleans, evidence requirements, and timing are set out in our Cleaning Service Warranty.
Re-clean cover applies only to surfaces and items in your original booking. The exclusions and limitations in this checklist remain in effect, and work beyond the original scope is a chargeable variation rather than warranty work.
Nothing in this checklist limits or excludes any rights or guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Please tell us about any valuable items still on site before the clean. Items may be moved during cleaning. Where you have not notified us of a valuable item, this may affect any claim relating to its loss or damage. Concerns about loss or damage are handled through our Cleaning Damage Claims process, and your Australian Consumer Law rights are not affected.
